Why “Fettle”

To fettle is an old British workshop word: to trim, adjust and put something back in good order. Easing a door that sticks, squaring a hinge recess, taking a paint ridge off a skirting — that's fettling, and it's what every tool in our catalogue is for.

Who we are

Fettle is the shop at faridsafar.com. It is operated by Complete Property Maintenance, a registered business name, ABN 19 804 027 208, NSW 2565, Australia. The business name has been registered since 2003. We sell physical tools to customers in the United Kingdom — we are not a booking service for tradespeople.

Sellers, not makers

We sell tools from a range of manufacturers; we don't make any of the goods in the catalogue. The maker and brand are named on every product card — Carbatec, Mora, Pfeil, Pax, Topman, Nakaya, Narex, Tapo and others. Where a brand offers its own warranty, it comes on top of your legal rights. As the seller, we're responsible for your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If something isn't right, email support@faridsafar.com with your order number.

What we stock

Hand tools for carpentry and everyday home repairs: squaring a hinge recess, trimming a proud plug, pulling a rusty nail, easing a sticking door, cutting small trim. Some cards are specialist woodworking tools — carving knives, a fret saw, a froe — stocked alongside the repair kit. There's also an outdoor camera for the front of the house. Prices are in pounds sterling, VAT included where it applies, and UK delivery is a flat £4.99 per order, shown before you pay.
